Are you curious about how a telehealth appointment works? It is actually quite simple and easy to use, and you will receive the same great care from Alliance Xpress Urgent Care – just from the comfort of your own home.
You will still call our office like you do for any appointment. Our office team will determine if telehealth is appropriate for your visit and discuss that option with you. If you decide to book a telehealth visit, we will share a link with you over the phone that you will type into your internet browser. You will use this link to access your telehealth appointment.
Step 2: Choose Your Device
All you will need is either a smartphone, tablet or computer with a: camera, microphone and speaker. You will also need a stable internet connection.
Step 3: Enter the Link Provided by Alliance Xpress
When it is time for your appointment, type the link into a web browser and it will take you to Alliance’s virtual waiting room. You do not need to download any apps or software, and there is no registration or login required to participate. When prompted, you will need to enable your device’s camera and microphone.
Step 4: Enter Your Name
While in the virtual waiting room, you will enter your name so that your medical provider knows that you are ready.
Step 5: Talk with Your Provider
When the Alliance Xpress care provider is ready, he or she will begin the appointment and conduct a consultation just like a standard in-person visit to our office.
Along with your health, your safety and security are our top priorities. This is why all audio and video are HIPAA compliant. The service provider does not collect or store any protected health information. Calls are between only the patient and care provider. The company that hosts the calls, Doxy.Me, does not even receive patient names.
